I celebrated my birthday at The Kennedy, and it was hands down one of the most beautiful and peaceful dining experiences I've ever had. As soon as I sat at the bar, I was greeted with a complimentary birthday cocktail which immediately made me feel celebrated and welcomed. Such a thoughtful touch. 💜 For appetizers, I ordered the caviar deviled eggs and the caviar mozzarella sticks, and when I tell you they were TOO GOOD… I'm still thinking about them. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For dinner, I had the short rib Mac and cheese! I feel like I need that at least once a month! So decadent, so rich, so comforting. I followed that with the Lavender French 75 cocktail, and wow. Smooth, refreshing, and beautifully crafted—it was easily one of the best cocktails I've had in Houston, like seriously. Can you believe they even had the audacity to surprise me with a birthday cheesecake and my bartender sung to me. Stop it!!! I'm a fan!!! The ambiance was everything: live music, chill vibes, classy but comfortable. As an introvert celebrating alone, I never once felt awkward or out of place. I felt relaxed, SAFE, and completely in my element. No pressure. No interruptions. Just good energy and great food. My bartender/server was incredible! He was kind, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. He checked in at the perfect times and made sure I had everything I needed without hovering. That balance is rare and appreciated. The Kennedy didn't just give me a meal, oh no, they gave me a birthday experience. It was elegant, peaceful, and memorable in all the right ways. If you're looking for a place to celebrate yourself, unwind, enjoy amazing food and cocktails, and feel genuinely welcomed, this is it. I will absolutely be back. The Kennedy Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge is truly one of Houston's hidden gems. I recently stopped by and ordered their Lavender French 75, and WOW---hands down one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and incredibly refreshing. What really sets The Kennedy apart, though, is the atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with an elegant, modern space that still feels warm and inviting. It's the kind of place where you can dress up and feel fancy but still relax and enjoy yourself. I also love that they frequently host events---each one thoughtfully put together and always welcoming. Whether you're catching up with friends or celebrating something special, The Kennedy makes every visit feel like an experience. Highly recommend for great drinks, stunning ambiance, and an overall unforgettable night out. I can't wait to go back!

I've always been a fan of shrimp and chicken carbonara, so when I saw Duck Confit Carbonara on the menu, I knew I had to try it and it did not disappoint! The pasta was cooked to perfection! The sauce was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming, complementing the dish beautifully. But the real star was the duck. It was incredibly moist, tender, and packed with flavor. The addition of crispy duck skin added the perfect touch of texture and a savory crunch that took it to the next level. Overall, this was a delicious and creative twist on a classic. Highly recommend!
